Patches is an anthology comic featuring multiple stories. One story follows a young woman named Sandy who dreams of becoming a boxer and seeks fortune and fame. After witnessing planes at an airfield, Sandy gets the idea to pursue a job at the airport to earn money while learning about aviation. Despite initial setbacks and doubts about her abilities, Sandy persists in her goal to work at Crawford Corners Airport, hoping they will hire her.
