Captain Commando and the Boy Soldiers pursue a Nazi agent named "The Hangman" who has evaded them, but the Hangman reveals he has been tracking them and corners them in a confrontation where he discloses his identity and powers. Meanwhile, The Shield investigates a murder plot linked to a phonograph record scheme involving the Benny Goodman orchestra, where instrumental records are being altered and sent to South America as part of an espionage operation; The Shield and his partner Dusty must stop the culprit Hugo Glaubner before he can complete his sabotage. The issue is an anthology featuring these two main adventure stories of wartime heroism against Nazi and criminal enemies.
