Pep Comics #40

Pep Comics #40 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. The Shield confronts a murderer who has picked up an incriminating note and desperately seeks to prevent a woman named Cokie's sister from being warned of the danger. In a second story, Captain Commando and his crew are rescued from the ocean after their plane is shot down, and they are offered a chance at redemption through a new mission. A humorous Fido adventure follows in which a small character attempts to transform a dog into a boy through various comical methods.
