In "The Missing Chimp," Peter Panda, Jane, and Jimmy visit the zoo and meet Charlie the Chimpanzee, who’s heartbroken over his lost twin brother in Africa. Determined to help, the trio sets off on a journey to find him—while Foxy Dan secretly tags along in disguise, eyeing the reward. With Rube Grossman handling both the interior art and cover, this 1953 DC adventure blends whimsy and heart in a charming early tale of friendship and faraway quests.
