Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #4

Spider-Man is flat on his back, pinned beneath the massive mechanical legs of what appears to be a towering robot or armored vehicle — and the angle Adam Kubert chose makes you feel every pound of that crushing weight. Jordie Bellaire's colors give the red suit a bruised, battered warmth against the cold steel looming overhead, selling the sense that our hero is in real trouble. Chip Zdarsky's run continues with issue #4, and if the cover is any indication, Peter Parker's day is about to get a whole lot worse.
