Plastic Man #13

Jun 1976 · DC · 0.30 USD
“If I Kill Me, Will I Die?”

In "If I Kill Me, Will I Die?", Plastic Man and his crew head to a quirky resort for a getaway—only to stumble into a hog-calling contest and an amnesiac Robby Reed working the ranch. As Robby’s memories slowly return, the rusted H-Dial awakens a dangerous twist: his past hero-forms have turned evil, and when he tries to reclaim his identity, the results are anything but heroic. Written by Steve Skeates, Jane Aruns, and Mary Skrenes, with art by Ramona Fradon and inks by Bob Smith, this 1976 issue blends surreal humor with creeping dread. The cover by Ernie Chua captures the absurdity and tension in one vivid, memorable image.
