The third chapter of Splitter Verlag's Plastok arrives in 2025 with a cover bursting with wild invention: a green insectoid figure ascends dramatically into a bright, ethereal light above, while below a chaotic mob of armored bug-like warriors brandishing weapons and riding strange vehicles tears across a dusty landscape. Nicolas Signarbieux's cover art — both pencils and inks — balances frenetic ground-level conflict with that striking vertical escape, perfectly teasing the "Metamorphose" promised by the title. With Maud Michel and Signarbieux collaborating on the story, this volume looks like a genuinely imaginative ride through a world where insect life and human detritus collide in spectacular fashion.
