In "The Odd Job," Porky Pig finds himself summoned by the Sultan of the Sahara’s arid kingdom of Drybub, who needs his rare talent with a divining rod to locate water. With a flying carpet at his disposal, Porky sets off on a desert adventure far from home, guided by his peculiar skill and the Sultan’s urgent request. The story, illustrated with playful precision by Tony Strobl in both pencils and inks, captures the whimsy of a classic Looney Tunes misadventure.
