Power Pack #10

All four Power Pack kids are front and center on this May 1985 cover, tumbling through a chaotic underwater or seaside scene surrounded by churning white foam, jagged debris, and a burst of orange energy — the title "Sea Hunt!" promises the young heroes are in over their heads. Brent Anderson and Bob Wiacek deliver a wonderfully kinetic image, with the siblings in their colorful costumes scattered across the composition in genuine peril. Louise Simonson's Power Pack is at its best when it puts these kids through the wringer, and this issue looks like a thrilling test of everything they've got.
