“Powerless Part 6”

In "Powerless Part 6," Watts grapples with the aftermath of his coma-induced visions as reality begins to mirror his dreams. With Bruce Banner's unsettling influence, Matt Murdock's tragic death at Kingpin's hands, and Peter confronting Norman while rescuing Gwen Stacy without betraying Tony Stark, the stakes reach a breaking point. Meanwhile, Logan traces his past, and Frank Castle’s vengeance brings Kingpin’s reign to a violent end—leaving Watts to reflect on how far his dreams have shaped the world. Written by Matt Cherniss and Peter Johnson, with striking art by Michael Gaydos and dynamic coloring by Lee Loughridge, this issue delivers a tense, character-driven climax. The cover by Steve McNiven and Mark Morales captures the story’s dark intensity.

Watts once again visits with the disturbed and disturbing Bruce Banner who convinces him to take some action in the kidnapping of Gwen Stacy. Kingpin personally kills Matt Murdock and is caught in the act. Peter confronts Norman and rescues Gwen without having to compromise his boss, Tony Stark. Logan tracks down his old boss from the government. Getting off for Murdock's murder, Kingpin is taken down by a vengeance seeking Frank Castle. Watts concludes our tale by pondering the events since his awakening from a coma and how his visions of heroes translated into real life.
