Mouminoux's gap-toothed green crocodile Prémolaire is front and center on this 1979 Glénat album, caught in a wonderfully chaotic moment — sticky with glue, bucket in hand, standing before a wooden fence marked Chantier (construction site) while a speech bubble asks, "Jo, t'as pas vu la colle?" The subtitle L'Occasion ne fait pas le Lardon perfectly captures the absurdist, pun-loving humor that made this series a charming fixture of French-language humor comics. A delightful slice of late-1970s bande dessinée comedy.
