Professor Xavier and the X-Men #15
In "Dangerous Convictions," Professor Xavier senses a new, formidable mutant and dispatches the X-Men to investigate—only for Magneto to intercept the young mutant first, eager to recruit them for the Brotherhood. When the Stranger, an alien collector of cosmic mutants, arrives and proves too powerful for even Magneto to challenge, chaos erupts as the X-Men and Brotherhood clash. Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, disillusioned, choose to leave the Brotherhood behind and head home to central Europe. Cover by Duncan Rouleau and Joe Rubinstein, this 1997 issue features a story by Jorge González with art by Nick Gnazzo, inks by Ian Akin, colors by Matt Webb, and letters by Phil Felix.
