"Beating the Tinhorns" by Bill Harr involves Suspicious investigating a banker named Jones whose son is in debt from gambling; Suspicious devises a scheme involving corn flakes and paraffin to trick Jones into stopping his gambling habit and sending money to cover his son's debts.
