Queen Sonja #8
In "The Red Queen Episode 3," Queen Sonja takes a dangerous step beyond her crown when she intervenes in a duel between Ariok and his brother, sparing both lives and bringing them under her protection in Issenni. As tensions simmer and secrets begin to surface, Sonja discovers that Ariok’s cursed sword is more than just a weapon—it’s a voice with its own will, and it knows things Ariok has buried deep. Written by Arvid Nelson and illustrated by Jackson Herbert, with colors by Vinicius Andrade and letters by Simon Bowland, this issue deepens the mystery with a haunting conversation between queen and blade. The cover by Lucio Parrillo captures the moment’s tension in striking detail.
