Quicksilver #4

Feb 1998 · Marvel · 1.99 USD; 2.80 CAD
“The Inhuman Race”

In "The Inhuman Race," Quicksilver and Crystal arrive in New Attilan for the Gene Fest, but Pietro’s usual speed and charm falter as tension builds beneath the surface. When Fabian Cortez manipulates Maximus the Mad, Quicksilver is driven to disrupt the ceremony by stealing the Terrigen Mists—then willingly accepts imprisonment for his actions. Written by Tom Peyer and illustrated by Derec Aucoin, with inks by Rich Faber, colors by Joe Rosas, and lettering by Richard Starkings and Comicraft, the issue’s cover by Casey Jones and Jason Martin captures the moment of crisis.
