Radio Fun #991

Radio Fun #991 is an anthology issue featuring three main stories. "The Falcon" follows the masked crimefighter as he pursues Colonel Steel and his accomplice Aussie Parker in a taxi, attempting to prevent them from escaping with stolen secrets. "Norman Wisdom" is a comedic strip in which a boastful man claiming extensive work experience is humiliated when he is fired from a service job after breaking dishes and creating chaos, only to be offered employment by a sympathetic businessman. "Andy and Sandy" tells of a boy and his dog who help rescue Turner, the father of Andy's schoolmate Madge, and Andy later assists Madge's family by obtaining free theatre tickets from a jeweler named Mr Lazenby. The issue also includes an article by broadcaster Dennis Hunt discussing his career in music and entertainment.
