In "The Chosen!", Randy O’Donnell Is the M@n #2 (2001), the fate of a young ruler hangs in the balance as Tesca is captured during a dangerous undercover mission in Kallor’s castle, where dark influences from the Malok are taking hold. With Edrice and Gemel calling on Randy from Bollucidar, his unorthodox tactics and sharp instincts put him at odds with Gemel—but when he uncovers a deadly conspiracy to assassinate Kallor, the tide turns in a moment that could reshape the war. Tesca is captured while undercover in the castle of Kallor, a young ruler being influenced to join forces with the Malok. Edrice and Gemel summon Randy to Bollucidar to aid them and he irritates Gemel by allowing themselves to be captured, determining it would be easier to break out of the castle's prison than to break through its walls. Tesca is saved and when Randy exposes a plot to kill Kallor he turns firmly against the Malok.
