Real Life Comics #10

This issue features two main stories. The first follows military operations in Panama, where an army railway rushes troops and ammunition across the canal while fighter and reconnaissance planes patrol against enemy aircraft and naval threats in defense of the strategic waterway. The second story concerns Dr. Bruce and Sir Hubert Wilkins, who discover that a disease epidemic in Uganda is caused by trypanosomes carried by the tsetse fly; after developing a cure, Wilkins is rewarded for his bravery and subsequently leads a submarine expedition to the Arctic ice pack north of Spitzbergen to advance scientific knowledge of unexplored polar regions.
