Real Life Comics #13

"The Eternal Yank" features a World War II narrative in which Phyllis, a female pilot, participates in aerial combat against German forces over the English Channel, successfully destroying enemy aircraft with the aid of coastal defenses. After a crash landing, Phyllis is recovered and later teams with Major Kartveli to test and develop an innovative all-metal pursuit aircraft designed for military use. The story chronicles the experimental plane's development and eventual adoption by the U.S. Army as a viable combat aircraft.
