Real Life Comics #56 is an anthology featuring two stories: "Bill Breakenridge: Tombstone Lawman," a Western adventure depicting a confrontation between the lawman and Barbarossa, a pirate whose forces outnumber Breakenridge's men until a decisive naval battle turns the tide; and "Reluctant Rebel," by Sonny Kaufer, which chronicles the true story of Edwin Warren Moise, a Civil War hero who, despite his love for the South, initially resisted secession but ultimately volunteered to lead Confederate forces after Georgia's decision to leave the Union, proving instrumental in numerous battles with the Seventh Confederate Army.
