Red Band Comics #3
In "The Bewitched Heiress!", Bernard Baily's dynamic art brings to life a 1945 adventure where Hugh Mann, a man plagued by self-doubt, defies his fears by building a rocket to Mars—only to crash-land on the mysterious planet Brutus. There, he's captured and displayed as a curiosity by the tyrannical Super-Judge, until a bold act of quick thinking earns him the name Impossible Man. With art by Bernard Baily, this early tale of unlikely heroism and cosmic oddity stands as a striking entry in the Red Band Comics series.

However, upon landing, he discovers that he is on the lost planet Brutus, where he arrested by Flatfeet Fogarty, who takes Hugh to see Super-Judge, who has Hugh packed in cotton and exhibited as a typical weak Earth freak.
