Red Hood and the Outlaws #8
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Red Hood and the Outlaws #8 drops the Outlaws into a chaotic, high-stakes confrontation teased by the cover tagline: "Vendetta from a Madwoman… and the World Will Pay the Price!" Kenneth Rocafort's kinetic cover art captures a snarling, bloodied woman in a torn lab coat wrestling Red Hood for his helmet while a tattooed man in a baseball cap struggles in her grip, with the fiery-haired Starfire unleashing energy blasts just behind them — all set against a wrecked, clinical-looking environment. Scott Lobdell scripts the mayhem, and Rocafort's visceral linework makes it immediately clear this unnamed antagonist is not someone the Outlaws can easily shake off.
