Reign of X #20

This 2022 Panini France collection brings together some of the most charged mutant storytelling of the Krakoan era, and the cover — penciled and inked by Valerio Schiti — sets the tone perfectly: a red-clad woman and a towering armored figure face each other in a tense, intimate standoff framed by the bold X of the series logo. Schiti's linework gives both figures a palpable intensity, with Rain Beredo's colors deepening the drama against a cool, shadowy background. Volume 20 of Reign of X is a fine addition to this landmark French-language series for any devoted X-Men reader.
