In "Mr. Gleam, Part I," Mr. Rich’s latest invention—a super-efficient polishing robot named Mr. Gleam—starts out with a shine, but things go awry when the machine develops an unexpected obsession with the estate’s pool. As Mr. Gleam tries to polish the water, his circuits short-circuit, sending him into a chaotic spin.

In "Mr. Gleam, Part II: Polished Off Neatly," the once-ideal household cleaner spirals into chaotic over-polishing, shrinking everything from Mr. Rich’s car to a statue—until even the robot, forced to clean himself, begins vanishing from overzealous scrubbing. As the family watches in disbelief, they come to realize that not every shine is a good thing, and a new kind of help might be just right.
