In "Little Dot Meets Uncle Eureko," Little Dot is thrilled when her prehistoric uncle arrives via a mysterious phone booth—what she thinks is a time machine—bringing with him a parade of inventions he claims to have created: sandals, eating utensils, a back scratcher, an axe, and a saw. Though each item turns out to already exist in Dot’s time, Uncle Eureko is heartbroken by the realization and departs back to his era, leaving Dot both amazed and a little wistful.
