Richie Rich welcomes Freckles and Peewee for a playdate, but their fun is quickly disrupted by the uninvited Reggie Van Dough, whose boisterous antics threaten to destroy the mansion. Crabbe, their little newsroom buzzes with excitement—until the chaos of fame, a mysterious burglar, and a helicopter ride to the press club turn their big story into a wild, headline-worthy mess.

Richie Rich tries to impress his new girlfriend Gloria Glad on their first date, starting with a bouquet so large it nearly knocks over the flower delivery man. The next day, he’s not done—candy and dolls pour in, overwhelming the house, and when Gloria’s father starts to worry about the growing pile of gifts, even her assurance that Richie’s giving just one pet isn’t enough to calm his nerves.
