Rick and Morty Deluxe Double Feature HC #1
"Rick and Morty Go to Hell: Chapter One" delivers a wild, irreverent descent into a fiery afterlife where Rick’s skepticism meets cosmic irony. Written by Ryan Ferrier and brought to life with sharp, expressive art by Constanza Oroza—pencils, inks, and colors by the same hand—this deluxe hardcover collects a surreal, pitch-black comedy where the family faces a "movie of their collective shame" under a sarcastic sun. Marc Ellerby’s cover captures the chaos perfectly, while the story unfolds in the blistering "Desert of Truth," where even Jerry’s worst instincts go too far.

Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry have been dropped into a hot, fiery place filled with tortured souls and demons, which Rick still refuses to recognize as Hell. Summer walks away from her ever-arguing parents and creates for herself a life based on a romantic musical - with an unhappy surprise ending. Now in the circles of Hell, Rick and Morty are subject to a theatrical showing of a "movie of their collective shame" and the blistering heat and ceaseless vitriol of a sarcastic sun in the "Desert of Truth". Jerry stirs up the damned souls against Rick but, typically, takes things too far.
