Rick and Morty Finals Week: Wrath of Beth #1
In "Rick and Morty Finals Week: Wrath of Beth #1," Morty’s anxiety over his world religions exam takes a bizarre turn when Rick crashes their spaceship on a primitive planet to demonstrate religious evolution firsthand—only to vanish, leaving behind a cult built around his own image. When Space Beth stumbles upon the planet, she’s stunned to see the larger aliens mimicking Rick and the smaller ones resembling Morty, with the "Ricks" now sacrificing the "Mortys" in a twisted ritual. Written by Jake Black and brought to life by Marc Ellerby in every role from pencils to colors, with Crank! handling the letters, this issue blends existential dread with sharp satire. The cover by Marc Ellerby captures the eerie, cult-like scene with chilling precision.

Returning from a Rick-and-Morty-space-adventure, Morty frets over his upcoming world religions final exam. Rick lands them on a peaceful but primitive planet with two types of inhabitants, one larger and one smaller. To teach Morty about religions, he proceeds to act as a god and have a religion form around him. Then they abruptly leave and let Rick's influence take its course. Space Beth later happens upon the planet and is horrified to find that the larger aliens have adopted a Rick-like look and the smaller ones a Morty-like look... and the "Ricks" are sacrificing the "Mortys".
