This second volume of the 2015 Rocket Raccoon series collects issues #6-11 of the original Marvel run, continuing the intergalactic adventures of the sharp-tongued, gun-toting Guardian of the Galaxy. Written by Skottie Young with art by Jake Parker and Filipe Andrade, the story sees Rocket navigating a chaotic galaxy full of bounty hunters, alien oddities, and his own reckless schemes. The German-language edition by Panini Deutschland features the complete arc 'Storytailer' and a backup tale by Chip Zdarsky.
In "Eisige Kälte, Teil 1," Rocket races across the frozen wastelands of the polar planet Fron to find a cure for Groot, whose life hangs in the balance after a monstrous attack. With time running out and the harsh environment closing in, Rocket must push beyond his limits to save his friend.
In "Eisige Kälte, Teil 2," Rocket and Groot journey through frozen wastelands to retrieve a Nogu egg, hoping it can heal Groot’s mysterious illness. With help from Jink and her tribe, they face the harsh environment and ancient dangers, forging bonds that test their resolve. As they prepare to leave the icy world behind, the fate of Groot remains uncertain.
