Dee Dickens is minding a pet shop when a customer comes looking to buy a dog, but Dee's peculiar sense of humor and unusual approach to animal care—including letting the air out of an airdale and claiming to have survived a cannibalistic chief's dinner plans via a cooking joke—makes the whole transaction a chaotic comedy. When the frustrated customer finally runs out of patience, Dee decides the best solution is to lock him in the monkey cage alongside the troublemaking primate, leading to a hilariously absurd finale.
