Rocky Lane pursues a band of masked outlaws who have stolen twenty-five thousand dollars and hidden the loot somewhere. When the bandits are captured and jailed, Rocky believes their leader is someone else arranging the theft, and he sets out to identify the mysterious man behind the crime by visiting the bandit's boarding house. There Rocky encounters the Sonsgets gang, who have also been looking for the stolen money, and hides in a wagon to escape them. He eventually confronts the true leader and recovers the stolen funds with the help of the Stalwart Secret Marshal.
