In "The Outlaw Stallion," Rod Cameron springs back to life after a seemingly fatal encounter with outlaws who have stolen money and destroyed evidence of their crime. Rod pursues the crooks, who flee on horseback, and he manages to stop them and recover the cash. Chad Branch, a cattle rustler and horse thief, reveals that his wild horse Flash was lured away by rustlers working for a man named Tex Tappen; when Jim Slater tried to reclaim the horse, he was killed. Rod agrees to help Chad catch Flash and bring the outlaw stallion under control, staying overnight at Chad's ranch before pursuing the horse the next morning.
