“What Price for Love?”

In "What Price for Love?", Jill finds her romance with boss Eric tested when a promotion sends her into the spotlight—literally, as a TV singer—pulling her away from the man she loves. When she invites Eric to a winter sports party hosted by her wealthy cousin Lana, old insecurities flare, especially after she sees them together—only to later rescue Lana after a snowslide, learning the truth behind the moment. Hy Fleishman’s expressive art brings the emotional stakes to life, while Ed Goldfarb and Bob Baer deliver a striking cover that captures the story’s tension and heart.

Jill falls in love with her boss Eric, but when she's promoted from his assistant to featured singer on TV, she doesn't see him much any more. Jill invites Eric to a weekend winter sports party thrown by her rich cousin Lana. Jill remembers how Lana always stole her boyfriends and, when she seems Lana and Eric kissing, she runs away. Lana pursues Jill and is injured in a snowslide. Jill rescues Lana, who explains Eric rebuffed her advances. Eric and Jill will wed.
