Secretary Rita wants to marry a successful man and decides young engineer Tad is a good prospect. Rita’s campaign to hook Tad seems to be working but when she admits to co-worker May that she’s marrying Tad because “he’ll give me the things I want” but she’ll have to “learn to love him,” Tad overhears and breaks their engagement. Rita follows him to Central America and apologizes, as well as saving his life from a landslide. Tad decides he will marry her after all.
