When the operator of a country exchange gives out a recipe to a caller preparing a meal for his girlfriend and her mother, the operator dreams about how he might call back and invite her over to cook for him. Weeks pass before she hears from him again, but this time he has broken up with his girlfriend. He doesn't like the recipes the operator gives him and instead asks her to join him at a café.
