Romeo #29 June 1963
In "The Pursuit of Annette," Simone and Alan's modeling partnership for the "Dainty Miss" line hits a snag when the photographer's staged shots create tension between them—especially after Alan quits over the arrangement. Forced to face each other again at the agency, their professional rift begins to shift as Simone starts seeing him in a new light. A quiet, character-driven moment from 1963, this issue captures a subtle shift in perspective, all told through the restrained art of a typeset letterer.
