In Route 666 #3, Cassie finds herself framed for the murder of Doctor Waterman by the cunning Doctor Melchior, but she turns the tables—killing Melchior and fleeing into the night. As she tries to disappear, a Sheriff recognizes her, forcing her to steal his patrol car and vanish into the desert highway’s endless shadows.
