Roxy #8 April 1961 [161]
In "Kiss Away My Tears," young Tina finds herself caught between her heart and her duty as her grandfather prepares a grand party to find her a suitable match. With the most eligible bachelors in Britain in attendance, she’s asked to place white carnations before her three favorites—only to realize her feelings may be more complicated than she thought, especially when her attention drifts toward one of her bodyguards, not the one who seems to return her gaze. Art by Dudley Wynn brings the social drama to life with expressive detail and period charm.
