# Rusty #4 The issue contains two main stories. In "Canine Capers," Spunky and his friends plan to collect free circus passes by obtaining one more poster, but their dog accidentally eats the circus pass they obtain, forcing them to abandon their scheme. In the second story, Rusty's father attempts to test an automatic short-wave radio device aboard a boat, but when he accidentally grabs the wrong device, it triggers a crisis at sea requiring rescue; meanwhile, a group of boys uncover a scheme in which transmitters are being distributed to banks to prevent robberies, leading them to assist the police in recovering the final transmitter and foiling a bank robbery plot.
