Mar 2017 · Delcourt · [none]
“Saint Michel, priez pour eux !”

In the wake of the Amoco Cadiz oil spill, Séraphin Cantarel is sent to the Mont Saint-Michel to assess its eligibility for UNESCO World Heritage status, overseeing restoration of the Archangel's Spire. But his inspection quickly unravels when he and his assistant, Théo, become entangled in a murder involving a fake monk and a shadowy art trafficking ring. Written by Éric Corbeyran and illustrated by Michel Suro—with inks and colors by Suro and Cyril Saint-Blancat—this gripping tale unfolds with quiet menace across the ancient stones of the Mont, its cover by Michel Suro capturing the site’s haunting grandeur.
