S.W.O.R.D. #1
In "No Time To Breathe," Abigail Brand faces a perfect storm aboard The Peak space station: a hostile co-director, a desperate half-brother on the run, and a Drenx delegation with invasion on their minds. With Beast at her side and Death's Head making off with her brother Lothi, the stakes soar as she and her allies launch a desperate pursuit across the station’s corridors. Written by Kieron Gillen and illustrated by Steven Sanders, with inks by Craig Yeung and letters by Dave Lanphear, this opening issue of S.W.O.R.D. #1 sets a tense, high-stakes tone, all under John Cassaday’s striking cover.

Beast visits Abigail on The Peak space station only to find that her busy life as director of S.W.O.R.D. is even more hectic than usual. She is warring with Osborn appointed co-director Gyrich as he tries to forward his own agenda. She is trying to deal with a delegation of Drenx who are pretty keen on invading Earth and enslaving its people. She also learns that her half-brother is being hunted by Death's Head for stealing a sacred artifact and he has shown up looking for help. When Death's Head breaches the station and makes off with Lothi, Abigail, Beast and Lockheed head off in pursuit.
