Linda falls for Barry, but her father refuses to let her see him after he discovers that Barry had served three years in jail for robbery with violence. Linda sneaks out anyway and Barry tells her he was not guilty of the charges. Seeing Linda's resolve, her father agrees to give Barry a job as a test. Things go well until some drugs are reported missing and everyone assumes Barry took them.
