Sad Sack Comics #190

In "New Water Supply," Privates Sad Sack and Slob Slobinski are tasked with building a massive reservoir at Camp Calamity after Brigadier General Rockjaw declares the base a fire hazard. What starts as a straightforward duty quickly turns into a familiar tale of misdirected effort when the finished pool is claimed by officers for their exclusive use—leaving the enlisted men to wonder if their hard work was for nothing.

In "Too Quiet!", Sad Sack tries to stay out of sight after Sarge orders him to vanish, only to be shooed away by his fellow soldiers, brushed off by Captain Softseat, and growled at by Muttsy. Left feeling utterly unwanted, he decides to desert the base—only to crash back into a boulder, much to everyone's amusement.
