Marga, a woman with panther-like abilities, joins aviator Ted Grant and Professor Read's expedition to find a radium deposit on the Lost Plateau, but when the plane crashes and the professor's young son Bobby is kidnapped by Chalto, a renegade white chief, Marga's tracking skills and fearlessness become essential to the desperate rescue. Her cunning and strength are tested at every turn as she and the others pursue the kidnappers through treacherous terrain filled with quicksand, jackals, and deadly chasms. This tale is from Science Comics #8 (1940).
