Secret Romance Library #4
"That's How Strong My Love Is" is a quietly electric romance from 1971, drawn with tender precision by Félix Mas in both art and inking. Frances, caught between duty and desire, finds herself drawn to the charming but careless Desmond—despite her boss Mark’s warnings and her own reservations. As their professional relationship deepens, a moment of honesty forces her to choose between a safe past and a riskier, more uncertain future. Cover by Félix Mas.

Collecting sales files for Mark, Frances runs into Desmond and drops everything. She is smitten, despite his playboy reputation. But a confidential file is missing, a sackable offence. Frances finds the file was accidentally picked up by Desmond. He then asks Frances to be his secretary and she accepts, despite Mark urging her to stay. But the new job isn’t what Frances hopes. She works while Desmond plays. When she runs into Mark, he asks her back and says he wants to marry her. Frances’ resignation prompts Desmond to declare his love and she must decide. Naturally it’s Desmond.
