Aug 2003 · Marvel · 2.50 USD; 4.00 CAD
“Salvage Part 3”

In "Salvage Part 3," Juston grapples with the shocking truth that the mysterious robot in his garage isn't just a machine—it's a sentient weapon designed to hunt mutants. Written by Sean McKeever and illustrated by a rotating team including Udon, Joe Vriens, Sacha Heilig, Scott Hepburn, and Eric Vedder, the issue deepens the mystery as Juston confronts the implications of his discovery. With cover art by Eric Vedder and Joe Vriens, this 2003 Marvel release delivers a tense, character-driven moment in a story where the line between repair and responsibility blurs.

Juston is shaken up when he discovers that the giant robot in his garage can shoot beams out of its hands so he takes the power source out of the weapon. Doing a little research at school, Juston discovers that his "bot" is really a mutant hunting Sentinel and he has to decide whether he wants to continue with his little repair project. He does, and returns the spark plugs that power the Sentinel's weapons systems back to the robot.
