In "Davy Crockett i Björndalen," Davy Crockett and Georg Russel arrive in the frontier town of Dalton just in time to thwart Sam Duffer’s latest scam against farmaren Peter Tompson. After helping Tompson reclaim his supplies, the pair join him and three others on a journey to Atalanta—only for the travelers to betray and abandon Tompson and his son, unge Bill, along the trail. When Davy and Georg stumble upon the stolen wagon during their bear hunt, they must confront the new occupants and decide what justice looks like in the wild West.

In a tense showdown on the frontier, Sioux warrior Bruna Björn challenges Lieutenant Dick Jones to a duel, convinced he’s the man he’s been hunting. When Dick emerges victorious, the Sioux leader Aquila agrees to aid him—though the true stakes of their alliance remain shrouded in mystery.
