In the heart of the jungle, a plane crash strands three explorers on the rim of a dormant volcano. Guided by the enigmatic Kaänga and his companion Ann, they soon find themselves hunted by the reclusive Ka-winas, guardians of a secret buried deep within the mountain. With daring and cunning, Kaänga turns the explorers’ dynamite against the tribe, igniting the volcano’s fury, then leads them in a daring flight across the mist-shrouded valley—where they uncover the forgotten ruins of Carthina and the shattered throne of an emperor, now threatened by a treacherous coup.

In the dusty frontier town of 1953, Kaptein Lowett and his gang try to flush out Tex, who’s holed up in the saloon, but their plan falls apart when the entire gang is bested. With Tex wounded and the corrupt sheriff under pressure to act, the fragile tension in the town begins to crack.
