“How to Read a Comic, Part 1”

In "How to Read a Comic, Part 1," Oscar the Grouch and Prairie Dawn team up to track down a mysterious stink that’s driving Prairie Dawn wild—though Oscar finds it utterly delightful. What they discover is a laundry basket full of wet socks Telly Monster found at the laundromat, which Oscar promptly hangs out to dry, savoring every pungent moment. Written by Paul Morrissey and illustrated by Scott Underwood, with colors by Dustin Evans and letters by Jay Fosgitt, the cover by Amy Mebberson captures the silliness perfectly.
