Gen is thrown on a fire when he is thought to be dead. A soldier pulls him out and they walk through Hiroshima after the bomb. The soldier then shows signs of radiation. Gen takes the soldier to a makeshift hospital but the soldier dies on the way. Gen's hair starts to fall out.
